Delete Your Account

The steps are the same in the app and on the website:

• —Sign in to your account
• —Open Profile → Edit
• —Find the “Delete account” section
• —Enter your password to confirm

We ask for your password so that someone who gains access to your device cannot delete your account.

• —your profile: email address, display name, password hash and profile picture
• —game progress and statistics saved to the cloud
• —your leaderboard scores
• —your list of favourite games
• —the reviews and ratings you wrote
• —any pending password reset links

If you are a developer, the games you uploaded — along with all their builds, cover images and screenshots — are removed from both the database and disk storage.

The following records are kept, but are unlinked from you and become anonymous — they can no longer identify you:

• —Reports you submitted about a game — moderation history must survive, otherwise a record of a violation would disappear without trace.
• —Play session records — so that a game's total play count is not distorted. Only the game and the duration remain in these records.
• —Where the law requires it — for example during an ongoing investigation — we may be obliged to retain specific data temporarily.

Deletion is not deferred: it is carried out the moment you confirm it. Data may persist in backups for up to 30 days, after which it is gone from those as well.

If you have forgotten your password, first try resetting it. If that does not help, write to saqa.support@gmail.com from your registered email address — we will verify that you own the account and carry out the deletion for you. We respond to such requests within 30 days.
